Three tropical cyclones made landfall in the Philippines in the third quarter of 2018. These were TD Henry (Son-Tinh) in July, TD Josie (13W) in July, and Category 4 Ompong (Mangkhut) in September.

As CDRC brings aid to the affected communities, it continues to strengthen  its advocacy and comprehensive work on community-based disaster management (CBDM).
