Caritas Switzerland, through the support of Swiss Solidarity, City of Geneva, Caritas Luxembourg, Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Caritas Austria, is funding CDRC and Panday Bulig’s relief operations in Mindanao.

December 29, 2011 signified the start of a series of Caritas Swiss-supported relief operations in CDO.

In the evening of December 29, floating candles were sent down the Cagayan de Oro River to commemorate the many lives lost during Tropical Storm Sendong.
