CDRC, with the support of Intercommunication Center for Asia and Nippon (ICAN), distributed school supplies to the school children in Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City last Nov. 6, 2009. Several families are still staying inside the evacuation center after their houses were washed away by the floods during Typhoon Ondoy. The children could not go back to school because all their school things were taken by the floods. The local organization, SAMAKANA, facilitated the distribution.
