The Citizens Disaster Response Center awarded the winners of the ABKD On-the-Spot Poster-Making Contest last December 3, 2012 at the CDRC Training Center in Quezon City.

 

The winners of this year’s contest are: 1st prize, Shaina S. Robles, 15 years old, Brgy. Capri, Quezon City; 2nd prize, Janber Parayaoan, 14 years old, Brgy. Capri, Quezon City; and Jhamela Eras D. Tejome, 14 years old, Cainta, Rizal.

 

The theme of the contest was: The Importance of Biodiversity in Disaster Risk Reduction.

 

The activity was made possible through the support of the Foundation for the Philippine Environment and Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe.
