2 July 2016 – After a series of health trainings facilitated by the Negros Island Health Integrated Program (NIHIP), a total of 30 #community health workers receive their certificates of completion from the Center for People’s Resources and Services (#CPRS) and #CDRC in a ceremony held in Hacienda Ylanan, Brgy. Sta. Rosa, town of Murcia in Negros Occidental.
Each hacienda also received a set of medical supplies and equipment to be used by the CHWs for their services to the community.
#action medeor and #Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH) continue to support these typhoon Yolanda-affected communities in Negros through its project Improving #Health Care and Disaster Response Capacities in Typhoon-Affected Communities in Negros Occidental, Mindoro Occidental and Iloilo, Philippines.
