CDRC and the Cordillera Disaster Response and Development Services (CDRDS), conducted relief delivery operations in Benguet for the families affected by Typhoon Pepeng. This project was supported by Caritas Switzerland and Swiss Solidarity. Psychosocial support and disaster preparedness orientations were also launched during the distribution.

Here are some of the feedback from the beneficiaries who are mostly from the Kankanaey tribe:

“There are times to render help, but we should not be dependent on those who give us assistance, we should also help ourselves.”

“This is the fruit of our unity, no man lives all by himself. There is a need to unite in times of disasters.”
